"My soul is from somewhere else. I'm sure of that."

Why so many pictures of animals?   Because they have so much to teach us...

"There are two means of refuge from the miseries of life.  Music and cats."

John Gebhardt's wife, Mindy, said that this little girl's entire family was executed. The insurgents intended to execute the little girl also, and shot her in the head...but they failed to kill her. She was cared for in John's hospital and is healing up, but continues to cry and moan. The nurses said John is the only one who seems to calm her down, so John has spent the last four nights holding her while they both slept in that chair. The girl is coming along with her healing..

He is a real Star of the war, and the hero of peace.

This, my friends, is worth sharing. Go for it!! You'll never see things like this in the news. Please keep this going. Every person can make a difference in the life of someone, even if it is one little girl.

The Cat's Eye Nebula, one of the first planetary nebulae discovered, also has one of the most complex forms known to this kind of nebula. Eleven rings, or shells, of gas make up the Cat's Eye.

A billowing tower of gas and dust rises from the stellar nursery
known as the Eagle Nebula. This small piece of the Eagle Nebula
is 57 trillion miles long (91.7 trillion km).

Love comes in all sizes....

Your Friends will support you....

And respect your creativity for thinking outside the box....

They'll be there when you need a shoulder to lean on....

Or a great big hug....

A true friend takes interest in understanding
what you're all about....

They see beyond the black and white
to discover your true colors....

And accept you just the way you are...
even when you just wake up in the morning

So make your own kind of music....

Follow your heart wherever it takes you....

And when someone reaches out to you,
don't be afraid to love them back....
They may just be a friend for life....

Practice patience and tolerance....

Good friends are hard to find, harder to leave....
And impossible to forget!

Cheikha Rimitti, matriarch of rai

Cheikha Rimitti: The 79-year-old
matriarch of rai, Algeria's vibrant
street music... is still performing
with swagger and style. Rimitti,
who is from Oran -- the Algerian
city that gave birth to rai --
recorded her first album in 1936,
at a time when few women sang
in public in Algeria. Her songs
about poverty and sex established
her reputation as a leading figure
of rai, which literally means
"opinion" or "way of seeing."

Six phases of the new job…

Phase 1

You are listening to jazz -- Your first day at work is great. Your coworkers are wonderful, your cubicle is cute, and your boss is the best!

Phase 2

You are listening to pop music -- After a while you are so busy that you are not sure if you're coming or going anymore.

Phase 3

You are listening to heavy metal -- This is what you feel like at month end.

Phase 4

You are listening to hip hop -- You become bloated due to stress, feel sluggish and suffer from constipation. Your coworkers are too cheerful for your liking and the walls of your cubicle are closing in. You have started thinking 'WHATEVER' about your boss.

Phase 5

You are listening to GANGSTA RAP -- After more time passes, your eyes start to twitch, you forget what a 'good hair day' feels like as you just fall out of bed and load up on caffeine.

Phase 6

You are listening to the voices in your head --
You have built a makeshift door on your cubicle to keep people out. You have a dartboard with your boss's picture on it in your cube. You wonder why you are even here in the first place.
