Center for Economic Conversion -- CEC is a 23 year old non-profit research and educational organization, located in Mountain View California. Originally called the Mid-Peninsula Conversion Project, it was founded in 1975 as a project of the Friends Service Committee and became an independent non-profit organization in 1978.
